I started going to drive 365 a few months ago and although I have never been a fan of working out, I have a new take on it. For the first time ever I have actually enjoyed exercise and get a sense of accomplishment after every session. I now have a different perspective on working out and I am starting to look forward to it. The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable and I know they take personal care of each client. I’ve been involved with Drive 365 Fitness and Health for the past 5 years now. With their guidance, I’ve noticed drastic improvements in my body fat composition, fitness level, and overall lifestyle. The Staff at Drive 365 Fitness provides a variety, challenging and appropriate class sessions for all fitness levels, but above all they are very enjoyable. I started training under Drive365 a few years ago to help strengthen my weak areas and create a better physical balance across all of my activities. I’ve been a rock climber for over a decade and all my strengths had existed primarily in my shoulders and back with not much in the way of arms, chest, legs, or cardio. In an attempt to create a better balance and general overall fitness, I began utilizing the programs provided through my work and Drive365. There were two programs that helped me focus and build on my weaknesses; Circuit Training and Boot Camp. I relied on the Circuit Training sessions to help strengthen my weak areas as they focused on building strength and power where I was lacking, and for the Boot Camp sessions to help build my cardio and endurance. As a result, I’ve managed to excel in my climbing endeavors and feel significantly more confident in climbing and most of the other activities that I pursue. I’m generally a very active person and having a well-rounded physique and skill set has enabled me to perform beyond my expectations and easily pick up new skills and hobbies. It’s more fun to try new things when you have a solid foundation on which to grow. Training with Drive 365 has helped me identify incorrect technique and compensate for it, build on my existing strengths, and motivate me to push a little bit harder. As a result of the programs and help that I have received, I have gone on to win 2 bouldering(climbing) competitions and increase my overall climbing ability indoors and out, run multiple 10k races with a new record of ~43mins, and even fully run a half marathon. In the end, Drive365 has provided exceptional direction and support for those interested in getting better at wherever their interests lie. It’s always up the individual how much effort they put in but the trainers are always there to help focus and encourage you to go the little bit extra to see the results and succeed.
I was first introduced to Drive 365 Fitness in 2013, but it took me a little while to warm up to the idea of joining their fitness classes, as I was a very “basic” gym user. I’ve always had a thin build, but started to lose tone as I got a little older (mostly due to both laziness and poor diet.) All of the trainers are an absolute pleasure to work with; they demonstrate proper technique, answer any fitness-related questions with zero judgment, as well as challenge, educate and encourage their clients. With their help, I was able to get into a consistent fitness regime, gain some muscle mass, tone up my troubled areas and in turn, change my diet. I feel more confident now while at my own gym, having gained much more stamina and the ambition to work out knowing that I will continue to see positive results.
When I first started participating in the boot camps held by the Drive 365 trainers I never expected to learn so much about myself, my limits (and how I can push them), and to make such great friends with the group of people I work and train with. Three years later, I am still constantly challenged each week; the trainers always seem to come up with new and different ways to work out such that classes are never predictable and never boring. This past year I got married in Mexico – and with of Drive 365 Fitness guiding and encouraging me, I dropped 15 pounds before my big day and rocked my dress.
I feel better about myself, I can fit into pants I wore in high school, and I have way more endurance and strength when skiing, snowshoeing or hiking. I would have never been able to push myself as hard as Drive did; they have made me see that even when I *think* I can’t do it – I really can.
For years I have struggled with my weight and overall health. In the winter of 2011, I was 275 pounds and rapidly heading toward 300. Drive 365 Fitness helped me turn that around, and by August 2011, I was down to 195 – my pant size dropped from a 42 to a “loose” 34 and I felt better than I had in years. A year later, I’ve managed to keep the weight off, and most importantly it hasn’t felt like a constant
battle. Drive 365 Fitness is not like the generic fitness centers – they take a common sense approach to fitness and nutrition and tailor the program to your unique situation. Their support and dedication to my success, and continuous encouragement helped me achieve my goals. They have the knowledge and expertise and determination, and if you follow their program, you will get there.
It’s been almost 8 years now since I started working out with Drive 365 Fitness. I’ve tried and failed at almost every exercise program and diet out there. The only thing I find that has shown consistent results is working out under the direction of these guys… and they’ve definitely had their work cut out for themselves over the years helping me prep for my wedding, getting me back into shape after having a baby and then recovering from a surgery. The coaches pay close attention to my fitness level and what I’m capable of achieving; and take the time to demonstrate and explain everything so I feel comfortable and confident doing the workouts. All of the trainers here are caring, motivating, highly supportive and passionate about what they do. My biggest obstacle that stood in my way of dedicating time on personal health was my hectic and erratic work schedule. Drive 365 eliminated that excuse as they worked with my schedule, planning weekly schedules that worked around me. I am so glad I got introduced to the entire Drive 365 team, they took it way beyond just “working out” They helped me understand the importance of nutrition, a balanced schedule and encouraged me to follow through with my sleep apnea treatment. I have been training with Drive 365 Fitness for almost 3 years. I had let my fitness level go, and was 290 pounds. The coaches of Drive 365 Fitness explained their overall concept of training, but more importantly they focused on what my goals and expectations were. The trainers at Drive 365 bring a seemingly limitless library of exercises to each workout, which means no two workouts are ever the same. Their philosophy of functional training has helped me in all aspects of my life, not just athletically. Not long into my time with Drive 365, they identified a weakness in my core/lower back area. Through specific exercises targeting this area, combined with stretches to increase my flexibility, we have decreased the amount of everyday lower back pain I experience. In January of last year, I tore my achilles tendon playing basketball. After a lengthy recuperation period, the trainers at Drive 365 helped me develop a course of training that helped me maintain overall fitness as well as strengthening the muscles on my injured leg. I think this is one of their strengths as a fitness company – the ability to design workouts that aid in the rehab process while still providing an overall challenge. Now that I’m almost back to full strength, we are adjusting the workouts, and my goals, to keep the progress coming.
I’m currently 250 pounds, and working toward 225. During my time with Drive 365 Fitness, I’ve lost about 40 pounds and I’ve done it the right way – through lifestyle and dietary changes with increased attention to exercise. I’m able to do things in my 40s that I wasn’t able to do in my late 20’s or my 30s. I’ve never felt stronger or healthier. I can unequivocally state that Drive 365 Fitness has provided and continues to provide me with excellent results.
I started training at Drive 365 Fitness five years ago and it has changed my life in such a positive way that I will continue to train with them for the foreseeable future. I have primarily been doing the group classes and it is fantastic! The knowledgeable trainers switch the workout up each time you go, it is never a boring mundane routine where you feel like you are just being put through the paces. Since the workout is never the same the time feels like time flies by and becomes less cumbersome to fit into each day. Another benefit to the group workout is having the energy of the other people in the class to feed off of and which helps you push yourself. Initially I was referred Drive 365, over 3 years ago by one of my co-workers. I had developed a “Frozen Shoulder” as a result of repetitive shoulder strengthening movements. Designed using my own homemade workout routine…. Never a good idea!
The Drive team immediately referred me to another health care professional for Active Release Therapy. It was very evident right from the start that Drive 365’s philosophy was about “CARE” not just about signing me up!

The team at Drive 365 has improved the quality of my life. I had tried various types of workouts before but was never able to commit to something, until I started training with Drive 365 Fitness. They push me mentally and physically every morning with challenging yet fun sessions. I feel like they actually understand my fitness level and how to get me out of my laziness. I could never say “I can’t”, because whatever is thrown at me is usually doable, and I love the feeling of accomplishment afterwards, every time. While walking my dog in my neighborhood two plus years ago I noticed there were several personal training signs and sandwich boards littering the boulevard along my route. I visited three facilities before I walked into Drive 365. Feeling somewhat discouraged by the atmosphere at the last few I was skeptical to bother going up. I did, however and was greeted by one of the Drive coaches who had a few minutes to answer a couple questions despite being in the middle of a class.
He recommended I book a time to come in for a consult to talk more specifically about what I was looking for.
I chose Drive 365 for a couple main reasons: One, the gym was clean, well organized and free from bench pressing meatheads
And the other was the recommendation I see a doctor for a check up prior to starting. I felt that he was genuinely concerned for my well-being.
With the all clear, high blood pressure notwithstanding I started my first class, and 5 minutes into the session I realized just how far I had let myself go, I haven’t worked so hard in years, wow what an eye opener.
Six Months later after positive results my progress began to plateau and again I was recommended by the Drive team to see a doctor. Good thing too, I was diagnosed as a celiac with iron and calcium deficiency, but my blood pressure was down low enough to stop taking medication.
Since then I have I have maintained a healthy weight gradually replacing body fat with muscle and no longer have high blood pressure.
After two and a half years I still really enjoy spending time with the trainers and on my own when possible. I really feel comfortable at the Drive 365 gym, my oasis from the daily grind.

I started working out with the team at Drive 365 Fitness after I had my first baby. Four months of working out on my own had accomplished frustratingly little, but after getting workout and nutrition information from Drive 365 as well as one-on-one training sessions, I finally starting seeing the results I’d been looking for. It started when my sister in law invited me to a Saturday morning drop in circuit training class. I was nervous and excited about it, and afterwards exhausted as well as exhilarated. I started going regularly and knew it was definitely for me. Shortly after I began Saturday circuit, Drive 365 started offering monthly boot camps. I was nervous at first, unsure if I could keep up etc. I decided I would challenge myself and give it a shot. Now, I have been a part of it for over 4 months, and have had SO many significant changes. I am much stronger physically than before, I have begun to see definition in my arms and abs, I have more energy on a day to day basis, and it has even affected my moods – I am less irritable and just overall happier.
I have also developed healthier eating habits, but most of all friendships. Being surrounded by positive, healthy people has given me so much. I ran 10 km in the Terry Fox Run, and was able to do the Grouse Grind (both things I would not have attempted before). I have noticed I have so much more confidence now, I am not afraid to try new things and challenge has become exciting. One of the great things I have gotten from boot camp is the goals I have been setting for myself with the help of the trainers. I received a body composition analysis and together we came up with realistic, challenging, but achievable goals. I look forward to Christmas, which is when I should have met my goals, and then we can make new ones.
I have been attending personal training sessions with the Drive team for about 2 years. I can say unequivocally that my overall fitness and energy level have increased substantially throughout this period with their guidance and support. While I know what to do when working out on my own, my continued involvement with the Drive team gives me the encouragement and incentive to achieve a higher level of physical well-being, and contributes to my overall state of health. I would like to take the opportunity to thank the coaches at Drive 365 for their work with me over the past year! I grew up playing sports year round and was always in great shape! At the age of 20, I had back surgery on a herniated disc in my lower back. After the surgery I afraid I might hurt myself again that I became inactive for close to a year. Since then I have gone up and down in wait for just over 15 years. Going to the gym became very repetitive and something I did not because I enjoyed it but because I thought I had to. I became stuck in routines when I did go, and found a million excuses not to go! I’m now 37 and training with the staff at drive has completely changed not only the way I train, but my life! I’ve lost over 35 lbs in the last year, but more importantly, its renewed my love for physical fitness! I look forward to training instead of feeling like I have to. Their dynamic training sessions have not only transformed me, but they have transformed the way I train on my own. I was required through work to run a intensive physical exam in order to move forward in my career. I approached Drive 365 Fitness in hopes of increasing my strength and speed on the ice to obtain my goal of becoming an NHL Official. Drive 365 Fitness developed an individual plan to meet my needs and pushed me both mentally and physically to a level that I could never achieve on my own. The variation in his workouts along with his motivation and ability to push me made me look forward to our workouts. Since working with Drive 365 Fitness, I have been hired by the NHL and my fitness is at a level like never before.
Two and a half years ago, after coming off a horrible performance in the Sun Run and spending 6 months in the gym with no major gains, I was referred to Drive 365 Fitness for personal training and things have never been the same since. In a matter of one summer, the drive 365 helped me completely transform my physique and took my athletic performance to levels I had never seen before. I shaved 10 minutes off my 10K time, improved my grouse grind time from 58:30 to 43:24, and took my cycling to whole new distances in just a matter of 3 months of working out with his team. Not only did they help me start performing like a champ, they also had me looking like one too. After combining the training with a nutritional program from Drive, I dropped 20lbs and got my body fat down to 12%. To put it simply, they had turned me into a brand new person. I continued to work with them the following year as they helped me condition for a 400km ride on my bike from Kelowna to Delta. I had seen no plateaus and was even amazing myself at how things just kept getting better.
Unfortunately, that summer, my life took a really bad turn, as I was involved in a major car accident where I fractured 11 ribs, my pelvis and my tibia plateau. I was hospitalized for 2 months, one of which I spent in a wheelchair. As bad as things were, I knew that I would heal and when I did, I would want to come back twice as hard at things as I had before my injury. As soon as I was off crutches and healed, the first thing I did was go to Drive 365. This time it was not to shave minutes off a run or lose a few pounds, it was to get my body back to normal and to strengthen the areas that I had injured. After months of rehab, re-strengthening, and hard work, I am starting to feel like the man I was before my accident. I’m running again, I’ve started cycling and I am ready to get back to all the fun things in life I love. It’s still an uphill road, but I know with a team of trainers like the ones at Drive 365 Fitness, there are no limits again and I can get back to being me! Walking in that door 2 years ago changed my life and I know that it could do the same for you!
Coming out of Junior Football as a defensive back for the South Surrey Rams, I trained with Drive 365 Fitness in preparation for my upcoming football season at the University of Manitoba. Steve’s program and knowledge really helped me step my game up to the next level. I had never trained that hard and efficiently before, and it really paid off. I was physically and mentally ready to compete at the varsity level.
I found Drive 365 Fitness just by google searching personal trainers near where I lived. I met with the Drive team, and I decided to go with them right away. They seemed excited to work with me. I was already a runner when I started training with them, but was not reaching my full potential. After 2 tries at the Vancouver Marathon I wasn’t able to beat 3 hours; after 7 months of training in and out of the gym I smashed that time this year.
2:52, 27th overall, and a Boston Marathon qualifying time. It was by far my greatest athletic achievement and I have the Drive team to thank for it. I’m looking forward to continuing to train and beat that time in Boston next year.
After many years had passed since being a collegiate athlete, I had lost my motivation and drive to stay in shape. I was stuck in a rut at the gym and could no longer challenge myself beyond my means. I decided to start going to Drive 365 and was immediately impressed with the knowledge and dedication from each trainer.
